Safety inspector • Cape May County, New Jersey

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a safety inspector in Cape May County, New Jersey. Day to day you will update the risk register and method statements (RAMS); inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors. What we are looking for: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Full-time, day shift.
