Immediate opening: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Crawford County, Illinois. You will work at a haulage company. Your main tasks: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts Requirements: • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Current Driver CPC qualification card Rotating shifts.
