Collision repair technician — Dewey County

Now hiring: we are hiring a collision repair technician in Dewey County, South Dakota. The job is in an insurance-approved repair centre. Day-to-day duties: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer • Measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line • Replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly Ideal candidate: • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench 2+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
