Tailor machinist wanted in Cumberland County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Cumberland County, New Jersey. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Full-time, day shift.
