Urgent requirement: bar bender and fixer (Benue State)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Ushongo, Benue State. On a typical shift you will keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Performance bonus on top of base pay.
