Vertical transportation technician • Mississippi County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Mississippi County, Missouri. The job is in a machine room on the rooftop. You will mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers. You should have: • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Meals and transport allowance provided.
