Join our team: we are hiring an incoming goods inspector in Bergen County, New Jersey. Your main tasks: • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch • Operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools • Measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Willing to work rotating and night shifts At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
