Body shop technician — Perry County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a body shop technician in Perry County, Mississippi. You will work in a smash repair workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • Knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop • Confident reading insurance estimates and damage reports • Trade certificate in auto body repair an advantage Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
