Urgent requirement: scaffold fitter (Georgia)

Join our team: we are hiring a scaffold fitter in Chatham County, Georgia. You will work at a shipyard. Ideal candidate: • CISRS card or local equivalent at Part 1 / Part 2 level • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold • Working-at-height / PASMA training an advantage The role involves: • Tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner • Handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use $160 per day, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
