Steel fixing chargehand wanted in Martin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Martin County, Kentucky. The role involves: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Meals and transport allowance provided.
