Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Tripp County, South Dakota. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges The role involves watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; load and index turning tools in the turret.
