Vacancy available: safety inspector (Akwa Ibom State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety inspector in Udung Uko, Akwa Ibom State. Day to day you will run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills 3+ years on the tools preferred.
