Excavator operator wanted in Gilchrist County

Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Gilchrist County, Florida. You will be based at a landfill site. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence Day to day you will load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook.
