Great opportunity: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Carson City, Nevada. The job is at a busy refrigeration workshop. Requirements: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts The role involves check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge; charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays. Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
