Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry Ideal candidate: • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $5,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
