Finishing presser — Ibadan South West

Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in Ibadan South West, Oyo State. You will be based in a tailoring workshop. Day to day you will meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. You should have: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
