Fabricator-welder — Gboko

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Gboko, Benue State. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration 1+ years on the tools preferred.
