Requirements: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces The role involves: • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
