Immediate opening: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Nelson County, Virginia. You will be based on a high-rise façade. The role involves measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings; lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Proven experience in thermal insulation and waterproofing Six days a week, one day off.
