Join our team: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Gateshead, England. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Day to day you will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls.
