Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Holt County, Nebraska. The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion You should have: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Six days a week, one day off. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
