Reinforcement fitter • Douglas County, Wisconsin

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Douglas County, Wisconsin. The job is at a precast concrete yard. On a typical shift you will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) 3+ years on the tools preferred.
