Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar worker in Collier County, Florida. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder 4+ years on the tools preferred.
