We are recruiting: argon arc welder (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Foard County, Texas. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. On the job you will handle: • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
