Join our team: we are hiring a TIG welder in Dange-Shuni, Sokoto State. You will be based at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Part-time with flexible hours.
