Toolroom milling operator • North Slope Borough, Alaska

Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in North Slope Borough, Alaska. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. The role involves: • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Ideal candidate: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $140 per day plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
