Lift technician — Pender County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift technician in Pender County, North Carolina. The job is at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Your main tasks: • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces 4+ years on the tools preferred.
