Requirements: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage The role involves strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
