You will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams 6+ years on the tools preferred. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
