Fire and safety officer — Oldham County

Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations The role involves: • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
