Immediate opening: we are hiring an air conditioning installer in City of Newport News, Virginia. The job is at an air conditioning service centre. Ideal candidate: • Two-wheeler and valid driving licence for site visits • Can read electrical and piping schematics • Own set of hand tools, gauges and flaring kit preferred Your main tasks: • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Core-drill through brick and concrete walls to route the refrigerant piping We offer $3,400 per month plus benefits.
