Fabrication workshop technician • Gunnison County, Colorado

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Gunnison County, Colorado. The job is on a window-and-door production line. On the job you will handle: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash Requirements: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings We offer $4,600 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
