Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Starke County, Indiana. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience.
