Trowel-trade bricklayer • Benton County, Minnesota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Benton County, Minnesota. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On the job you will handle: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Full-time, day shift.
