Acoustic insulation fitter — Carlton County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an acoustic insulation fitter in Carlton County, Minnesota. You will be based at a busy building site. You will prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; wrap HVAC ducts with foil-faced insulation and fasten with banding; carry out flood and water tests on waterproofed areas to check for leaks; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations; seal gaps around windows, doors and service penetrations with sealant. You should have: • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam 3+ years on the tools preferred.
