Now hiring: we are hiring a ductable AC technician in Andoni, Rivers State. The job is at an HVAC contractor's workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds Day-to-day duties: • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge Overtime paid at a premium rate.
