Steel erection rigger • Howard County, Iowa

Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Howard County, Iowa. You will be based on a high-rise building site. On a typical shift you will direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
