Now hiring: we are hiring a lift erector in Evans County, Georgia. You will be based on a lift modernisation project. Requirements: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways The role involves: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox Part-time with flexible hours.
