Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Anne Arundel County, Maryland. You will work in an HVAC service company. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts Day-to-day duties: • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Service split AC units and VRF systems At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
