Immediate opening: aluminium fitter (Oregon)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Clatsop County, Oregon. You will work at an ACP cladding fabricator. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience fabricating aluminium doors and windows • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints • Able to read shop drawings and work to given sizes On a typical shift you will punch and notch sections for cleats, gaskets and hardware; assemble window and door frames from extruded sections; apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames; drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels.
