Groundsman • Yell County, Arkansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundsman in Yell County, Arkansas. The job is in a botanical garden. The role involves: • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Happy to work outdoors in all weather 4+ years on the tools preferred.
