Turning centre operator wanted in Montgomery County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Montgomery County, Illinois. Your main tasks: • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
