Vacancy available: we are hiring a surface coating operator in Ashe County, North Carolina. The job is at a fabrication and coating plant. The role involves run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches; inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; degrease and clean metal parts before coating; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg 1+ years on the tools preferred.
