The role involves install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw; read fabrication drawings and take site measurements for windows and doors; erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site; fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with ACP cladding and structural glazing • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Good finishing sense — no scratches, clean silicone lines 6+ years on the tools preferred.
