UPVC window fabricator — Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an uPVC window fabricator in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You should have: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely On the job you will handle: • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
