Crane rigger — Shelby County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Shelby County, Indiana. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
