Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Franklin County, Tennessee. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
