Escalator technician • Carmarthenshire, Wales

Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Carmarthenshire, Wales. Day to day you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; run load and overload tests with test weights. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring Six days a week, one day off.
