Great opportunity: we are hiring a site carpenter in Isiala-Ngwa North, Abia State. Ideal candidate: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Your main tasks: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together 1+ years on the tools preferred.
