Immediate opening: slinger signaller (Scotland)

Now hiring: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Inverclyde, Scotland. You will be based in a heavy machinery workshop. You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day to day you will inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. 3+ years on the tools preferred. £100 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
